What does “NHLA” do?

Does NHLA offer any discounts to home owners who qualify for your services?
NHLA randomly targets specific communities across the country. We also work with new homeowners, victims of fire and burglary, non-profit organizations, developmentally disabled, mental & behavioral health, abused women and employees of ALL these organizations.
You also must be the homeowner or signed authorization from the owner.
Is there a monthly fee and/or contract or agreement that must be signed?
Yes. There is a 3yr smart home life safety monitoring agreement that must be signed, unless you live in California, where it is 2yrs. Monthly Fees for the Smart Home/Security fees range anywhere from $45.99-$64.99 a month.
Are there any kind of activation fees or installation cost?
Normally the installation costs range anywhere from $299 -$499*. However, whoever is eligible for the promotional allowances will pay no more than $99 for activation.
I am a renter. Can I have one of these promo systems?
Unfortunately, no. Not unless the homeowner is willing to sign and be billed for the service directly. In this case, homeowners must just increase your rent the cost of the service that you have chosen.
Are there any states that you cannot offer these promotional systems?
Yes. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer these promotions in N. Dakota, S. Dakota, Alaska, Hawaii, Wyoming, and Montana.
Is there a credit check required?
Yes. We do a soft pull to prove homeownership, so it does not affect your credit score.
If approved, how will it take someone to come out to install it?
We normally can have you installed within 24-72hrs. You will be able to choose your days/time preferences.
How long does the installation take?
It normally takes between 2 ½ to 3hrs to install, test and show you how to operate all the features of your smart home security system.
What if I have a smart home or security system already? Can I upgrade it to No Home Left Alone?
If your equipment is currently being monitored, we are not allowed to take over the account until it has been shut off for at least 45days. At that point NHLA would just install brand new equipment.
